When you come in for treatment, we’ll attach small metal brackets to each of your teeth to hold a piece of your appliance called the archwire. Throughout your treatment, we’ll gradually adjust the wire so it will continue shifting your teeth into their ideal alignment. On average, your treatment will be completed in about 12 to 24 months.
Self-Ligating Braces
Our self-ligating braces system uses brackets and wires just like traditional orthodontics, but the wires are secured in place with small latches on each bracket instead of rubber bands. This allows them to straighten teeth at a significantly faster rate because there’s not as much friction on the archwire. This specialized orthodontic treatment can also address severe issues that would normally require multiple orthodontic appliances or corrective surgery.
Invisalign
This advanced system uses clear, custom-crafted trays that gently shift your teeth to fix minor to moderate crowding, misalignment, gaps and bite problems. You’ll visit our dental office every six to eight weeks to collect your new series of trays as you go through the treatment. During these appointments, we’ll also examine your mouth to make sure that you're staying on track with your treatment timeline. You will likely complete the process in about eight and 14 months.
